About The Gathering Stitch
Hi, I’m Brooke! I’m married to my husband Brent (we tied the knot in 2018), and we have two kids, Carson and Will. I truly love watching my children grow and learn new things, it’s one of my greatest joys.
In my free time, I love to travel and thrift for hidden treasures. I’ve been needlepointing for just over a year and enjoy creating pieces that are meaningful; whether they celebrate local memories or mark special yearly milestones for myself and my friends.
Funny enough, I originally picked up needlepoint because I needed something to keep my hands busy while listening to audiobooks, and it quickly turned into something I truly love.
Hey Y’all, I’m Avery! I am currently a graphic design major at Georgia Southern University. I am from the Lowcountry of South Carolina and love all things coastal and outdoors. In my free time I love baking, hunting, playing guitar and spending time with loved ones.
I am a very crafty person and enjoy having my hands in a million different hobbies. I have always loved painting and now get to mix it with my new love for needlepoint!
Hi, I’m Caroline — a Georgia Southern Double Eagle who met my husband, Garrett, in Statesboro and now happily calls Stilson home. I first learned about needlepoint from a family member in elementary school and have returned to it on and off ever since.
Two years ago, I began painting my own canvases and quickly fell in love with the creative side of the craft.
I’m a twin mom to my IVF miracle boys, and we’re a farming and hunting family through and through. Because of that, I tend to design hunting-inspired canvases, bringing an outdoor perspective to all things needlepoint.
Hi, I’m Rebecca Hall! I am from Swainsboro, Georgia, and I am newly married to my husband, Clark. Currently, I work as a Special Education teacher at Swainsboro Elementary School.
I’ve always been artistic and started my creative journey as a banner artist. Looking to try something new, I took a needlepoint class offered by Liz and quickly fell in love with the hobby. I began painting canvases for myself and discovered how relaxing and rewarding it was. Before long, I started creating my own designs, and the rest is history!
I'm Molly, and I'm a local needlepoint finisher with a love for creating beautifully finished pieces that feel as special as the stitching itself.
Whether you have a clear vision or prefer my signature "Surprise Me" approach, I thoughtfully design each finish to complement your canvas, even providing a mockup when creative direction is needed.
I am proud to partner with The Gathering Stitch to offer easy in-store drop-off and pick-up, making the finishing process seamless from start to finish.
I am also the creator behind Blue Peach, where I share my work and creative projects on Etsy and across social media.
Hey, y'all! I'm Gracie, and I manage the social media and website for The Gathering Stitch. I’m a proud Double Dawg with degrees in Advertising and Journalism & Mass Communication from the University of Georgia.
I was introduced to needlepoint by my closest group of friends, and I’ve loved seeing how this hobby brings people together and deepens connections. Creating thoughtful, engaging digital spaces that foster community around a shared love of needlepoint is something I truly enjoy.
In my free time, you’ll find me traveling, trying new restaurants with my fiancé, spending time with my two dogs, or gardening.
Kirby is our four-year-old Parti Yorkie and the heart of the shop. Weighing just three pounds on a good day (especially after a treat), she may be tiny, but her energy and bark say otherwise.
Named after Kirby Smart, she’s our best girl and the favorite of just about every shopper who walks through the door. Kirby loves greeting customers, supervising stitching, and making sure everyone feels right at home.
If you see a little shadow at your feet or hear a tiny bark, you’ve found Kirby, doing what she does best.
